“And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ―
I am an Integrative Yoga Psychotherapist having trained with The Minded Institute in London. This work involves deep somatic enquiry, movement, yoga, breathwork and mindfulness alongside reflective talking therapy, incorporating the whole being to support movement towards wellness. No one part of us, mentally, physically or spiritually works in isolation.
I qualified as a Yoga Therapist with The Minded Institute in 2014 and since then have been a practicing therapist supporting and bringing relief to clients with both mental and physical challenges to include:
- Stress
- Anxiety & Depression
- Low Self Esteem
- Insomnia
- Chronic Pain (including fibro-myalgia)
- Cancer Recovery
- Eating Disorders and Addiction
- Auto-Immune Disorders
- PTSD
- Trauma
- Chronic Fatigue
- Grief and Bereavement
I work from the body to the mind and the mind to the body, allowing you to lead the session with my guidance, and focus on whatever you wish to work through. The sessions are gentle, slow, and reflective, allowing you to focus on your unique experience and the meaning of your suffering as it presents in your mind and body in the moment. I incorporate the whole person and support a deep dive into your emotional life and patterns of thought and behaviour, to enable your insight and transformation.
I work closely alongside my clients guiding them through practices and techniques which will encourage improvement in their quality of living whilst providing hope and the possibility of leading a more comfortable, fulfilling and enjoyable life. My client led approach respects the fact that everyone is unique and I ensure that you feel safe, heard and supported at all times. Our work together combines physical practices, breathwork, the spoken word and mindfulness-based interventions. These are drawn from the ancient teachings of yoga alongside contemporary scientific research and knowledge.
As a Yoga Therapist I have worked privately, in groups and for several years with patients referred through GPs and Social Prescribers in Hampshire, and more recently, in Dorset/East Devon.
I am fully insured, DBS registered and an accredited member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP).
Please call me for a 15 minute FREE telephone consultation if you wish to hear more about what I can do to support you.

“I came to Judith struggling with depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue and obsessive thoughts. I was a complete mess and everyday a roller coaster of emotions. I have been coming to Judith for a number of months now and can honestly say that she has helped me tremendously. Over the months I have been introduced to several short yoga practices which I now do everyday one in the morning and one at bedtime. Judith has taken time to explain how maintaining a regular yoga practice will help rewire my brain into a more stable, calmer and positive mind set. I was sceptical at first, having been locked in a horrid cycle for so long. However, I have stuck to it and I can now really see the benefits. My ups and downs so far have been less severe. I feel calmer and able to cope with my emotions more effectively. I feel that I now have something that is just for me – my yoga practice. I look forward to doing it each day”. IYP Client – Lyme Regis 2025
“Experiencing therapy with Judith has transformed my life for the better. I was searching for a way to reconnect with my practice and myself after a serious illness and Judith was so kind, patient, and full of wisdom as I found my way back. Judith created a peaceful and loving space for exploration and healing as well as challenging me where necessary, and I am so grateful to her for gently showing me the way. The techniques and approaches Judith taught me are now part of my daily practice and I am going forward confidently as a result” N.LP Winchester
“Since the age of 18 I have suffered panic attacks and panic disorder, severe anxiety, and bouts of depression. I was on a lot of medication in recent years and started practicing yoga more regularly as a way to find some balance and calm within myself and my life.I am now medication-free for the first time in years. My ability to deal with the feelings of panic that often would leave me house-bound have come from pranayama and yogic breathing techniques” Ciara – Winchester
